Linked articles & inserting images
Added by vaelek karimazov 251 days ago
I am testing this out again and have noticed that when I link an article, the link URL is the same as the original article.
Example, I link article 96 to 95. The text says 96, but the actual link goes to 95. I thought it might just be off by one, but the results are always the same if I go for other articles.
Also, when adding images, after 'sending to server', the link populates but the 'reset size' must be clicked or nothing will appear.
Overall it's looking much better than the older version(s) I was testing! :)

Thanks for the feedback. I can confirm the linking bug. It will get fixed for the next minor version. I couldn't reproduce the image problem, trying with FF 3.5. On what browser and OS are you experiencing this issue?

I was using the dev branch of Chrome on XP SP3. Shortly after my post I noticed that it started working like it should. Probably just an issue with Chrome.
One other thing I noticed, not a bug, but would still be nice, is that when editing an article, there is a save and save as draft option, but there is no cancel, or easy way to get back to the original article. A way to enlarge the edit box would be nice also, like the way the post editor in Wordpress does it.
Also, this isn't really a big issue, but when editing an article, the scrollbar for the edit box goes only 1/2 way down the textarea. Once I click in the textarea though it expands to the fill it.

Sure, we can add a cancel button. In the meantime you can use the browser's back button ;)
A way to enlarge the editor would indeed be useful. I've added the feature request for this one as well.
I couldn't reproduce the scrollbar issue. Chrome again? would you mind posting a screenshot?
Cheers,
Alejandro

The scrollbar issue is in Chrome yes, on the Dev branch. I just updated to the current release (4.0.295.0) but that didn't solve it.
Here are screen shots, both on the initial load, and after clicking within the edit box.
load.png - Initial page load (22 KB)
after-click.png - After clicking in the textarea (44.3 KB)

Ok, I can reproduce your problem. Might get fixed after we upgrade the editor widget. I've opened a ticket for that.
Thanks,
Alejandro
